Yungaburra Folk Festival like most festivals in Australia depends on volunteers. Each year over 80 people generously contribute their time and skills to our local Festival to make it happenand have a ball doing it. A special benefit for 4 or more hours is the Volunteers' Party. Yungaburra Folk Festival celebrates world-wide folk traditions through music, storytelling, circus, dance, and crafts. This valuable community event would appreciate your support. YFF invites long term partnerships with organisations and individuals that share the goals of social, cultural and environmental responsibility in the community.

Amateur Home-brew Competition
Home-brew Beer Competition and Workshop. Enjoy a light-hearted look at the art of home brewing, including
judging comments, tips, and tricks on how to brew better beer. Please return 1st September to enter the 08 competition.
Accommodation Invitation
Want to get the most from your festival this year? Host an artist or two and experience the Festival from the inside out. Accommodation for a range of talented, interesting people is required for the Festival weekend. In exchange you not only get to share time with inspiring guests, you also receive a complimentary weekend ticket. Beds only required. Interested? Email -

Well-being Fair
Music and Festivals are recognised as a way of bringing people together and making them happy. This year's Well-being Fair will explore the reasons why music makes us feel so good, with a series of workshops on Sound Healing and Music Therapy.
